These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all users of Buddly.fi (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including service providers (“Vendors”, “Providers”) and customers (“Users”, “Clients”).
By creating an account, using the Platform, posting a listing, or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
1. Nature of the Platform
Buddly (Y-tunnus 3584970-9) is an online marketplace that connects users with independent service providers.
Buddly does not employ, supervise, or control the service providers.
All providers operate as independent contractors or companies and are solely responsible for their services.
Buddly is not a party to the service agreement between the provider and the customer.
2. Eligibility
To use Buddly, you must:
- be at least 18 years old,
- provide accurate information,
- comply with Finnish laws and regulations,
- for Providers: have the legal right to offer the services you list (e.g., Y-tunnus if required).
3. Accounts
You are responsible for:
- keeping your account secure,
- ensuring that all information is truthful and up to date,
- deleting or updating your listings when necessary.
Buddly may suspend or remove accounts for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
4. Listings & Service Providers
Providers are responsible for:
- the accuracy of their listings,
- pricing, availability, and service quality,
- ensuring that they have necessary permits, insurance, or qualifications (if required by law),
- communicating professionally with customers.
Providers agree not to include personal contact details (phone, email, links) inside listings unless expressly allowed by Buddly.
Buddly reserves the right to edit, hide, or remove listings that violate platform rules.
5. Bookings
Customers can book services through the Platform.
By placing a booking, the customer agrees to the Provider’s prices, conditions, and availability.
Providers agree to honour accepted bookings unless there is a justified reason to cancel.
6. Payments
Payments are processed through Buddly’s payment partners (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer when available).
- Customers pay the service price displayed in the listing.
- Providers receive payouts through the chosen method after the service is completed.
- Buddly may charge a commission fee per booking (percentage or fixed amount).
Providers must enter correct payout details. Buddly is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect payment information.
7. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies may vary by Provider.
If a refund is applicable, it will follow the Provider’s policy.
Buddly may intervene only if:
- there is a clear breach,
- there is fraud,
- there is unresolved misconduct.
Buddly does not guarantee refunds unless required by Finnish law.
8. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- circumvent the Platform to avoid paying commission (“off-platform bookings”),
- share false information,
- post illegal, harmful, or offensive content,
- harass other users,
- misuse the booking system.
Providers who repeatedly avoid the booking system may be suspended or removed.
9. Responsibilities & Liability
Buddly is not responsible for:
- the quality, safety, or legality of services provided,
- damages, losses, or injuries caused by Providers or Users,
- missed bookings or delays caused by Providers,
- actions taken outside of the Platform.
Users and Providers agree to resolve disputes directly with each other.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buddly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Intellectual Property
All content created by Buddly (logo, texts, design, platform structure) is protected by copyright.
Users may not copy, modify, or resell Buddly’s materials.
11. Termination
Buddly may suspend or terminate accounts at any time for:
- violating these Terms,
- fraud,
- abusive behaviour,
- harmful activity toward the Platform or other users.
Users may delete their accounts at any time.
12. Changes to Terms
Buddly may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the Platform means acceptance of the updated Terms.
